Each residential customer desiring electric service from the electric department shall be required to pay a nonrefundable application fee of forty-five dollars ($45.00) per meter. Commercial and Industrial customers may be required to make application and pay a nonrefundable application fee for new utility service or changes to existing service. Applications must provide satisfactory documentation before utility service is provided. The documentation must include a signature of the owner or officer of the business. It is the responsibility of the utility customer to contact the City to discontinue services. The customer will be responsible for all bills incurred until termination of services is requested.
