18-120. Service charges.
   (1)   Connection charge. A service charge of twenty dollars ($20) shall be collected for each service connection. Any request for service received after 2:00 P.M. will be processed the next business day.

   (3)   Reconnection charge due to nonpayment of account. When service has been disconnected by the water quality control department for nonpayment of account, a service charge of forty dollars ($40) shall be collected to restore service. Effective January 1, 2021, service will only be restored during normal business hours if the service was disconnected for nonpayment of account.
   (4)   Returned checks. A twenty dollar ($20) service charge (for all utilities or a single service) will be charged for each check returned by the bank or e-check processor unpaid. If it is determined by the finance director that the returned check was caused by bank error then the twenty dollar ($20) service charge shall be waived.
