11-303. Discharging firearms.
   It shall be unlawful for any unauthorized person to discharge a firearm within the city except while lawfully hunting as defined by Title 70, Tennessee Code Annotated. Anyone discharging a firearm, even when lawfully hunting, must not discharge that firearm in a reckless manner that places or may place another person in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury. It shall also be unlawful for any unauthorized person to discharge a firearm within the city except in cases of legitimate self defense or defense of an innocent third party.
