Each taxi shall bear on the outside of each front door an identifying company name and the word “taxi” if not part of the company name. The marking shall be of sufficient size to be clearly visible from a distance of twenty (20) feet. Each taxi shall be designated by the permit number assigned by the Cookeville Police Department and such number shall also appear on each side of the taxi. Each taxi shall be equipped with a light on its top that identifies the vehicle as a taxi.
