9-201. Permit required.
   It shall be unlawful for any peddler, solicitor (selling door to door for immediate or for future delivery), or temporary sales vendor, to ply his trade within the corporate limits without first obtaining a permit in compliance with the provisions of this chapter and any other city ordinance. No permit shall be transferable.
