(A) Speed limits; generally.
(1) Speed limit; residential section. No person shall operate any vehicle on any street, which is not a part of the state highway system and which is not maintained by the State Highway Commission, in the residential section of the town at a rate of speed in excess of 25 mph. Any person violating this division (A)(1) shall be subject to a penalty of $10.
(2) Speed limit; business section. No person shall operate any motor vehicle on any street, which is a part of the state highway system and which is maintained by the State Highway Commission, in the business section of the town at a rate of speed in excess of 20 mph. Any person violating this division (A)(2) shall be subject to a penalty of $10.
(3) Speed limit; state highway; residential section. No person shall operate any motor vehicle on any street, which is a part of the state highway system and which is maintained by the State Highway Commission, in the residential section of the town at a rate of speed in excess of 35 mph. Any person violating this division (A)(3) shall be subject to a penalty of $10.
(4) Speed limit; state highway street system. The forgoing speed limits are a safe and reasonable speed limit for those designated areas.

(B) Speed limits of Ord. passed 9-6-2005.
(1) Whenever a speed limit has been established and appropriate traffic control devices have been installed in accordance with division (B)(2) below, no person may operate a vehicle on any street in excess of the posted speed.
(2) The following speed limits shall be applicable to the following streets, as indicated, and the Chief of Police shall install appropriate traffic control devices clearly indicating the established speed.
