§ 151.05  UNLAWFUL TO DEFACE NUMBER.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to alter, deface or take down any number placed on any property in accordance with this section, except for repair or replacement of the number.
   (B)   Anyone who alters, defaces or takes down any number except for repair or replacement shall be guilty of a misdemeanor as provided by G.S. § 14-4.
