A. Misdemeanor: Violation of the provisions of this chapter or failure to comply with any of its requirements shall constitute a misdemeanor. Any person who violates this chapter or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment for each such offense, and in addition shall pay costs and expenses incurred by the city in prosecuting the case. Each day such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
B. Additional Remedies: Nothing herein contained shall prevent the city from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation. (1975 Code § 4-5-5-1)
