§ 30.01 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND PUBLIC SAFETY AS EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT OF CITY.
   Pursuant to IC 36-4-9-4, an executive department of the city, to be known as the Department of Public Works and Public Safety, is created. The Department of Public Works and Public Safety shall have all of the powers, duties, and authority heretofore conferred by the laws of the state on the Board of Public Works and Safety.
