§ 73.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   The owner or operator of a vehicle who has been so notified of a violation of this chapter, may, within ten days of the time when the notice was attached to the vehicle, pay to the designated member of the department as a penalty for and in full satisfaction for such violation, the sum of $5. If a penalty is not paid within time limits, violation will be filed in court.
   (B)   Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof be subject to a fine of any amount, not exceeding $100 for each offense or violation.
   (C)   In addition to the penalties above, any police officer, upon discovering any vehicle parked or stopped, in violation of this chapter, may remove the vehicle or cause the same to be removed by private towing contractors approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety to their vehicle impoundment sites where the vehicle shall be released only upon payment for the cost of towing the vehicle away from the place where it was illegally parked or stopped together with the cost of storage.
