(A) It shall be the duty of the Police Department to designate some member of the Department to make regular collections of the money collected for the parking violations and to deliver the money to the Clerk-Treasurer.
(B) The money collected into the Parking Fund shall be used to provide for the cost of supervision, regulation, and control of the parking of vehicles in restricted parking zones; and to cover the cost of purchase, supervision, protection, inspection, installation, operation, maintenance, control, and the use of parking spaces, and to acquire and maintain municipal parking lots.
