For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PRIVATE PROPERTY. Property owned by property owners within the city boundaries of the City of Connersville.
PROPERTY OWNER. The person, firm or corporation whose name appears on the current tax duplicate in the office of the Auditor of Fayette County, as the owner of such real estate.
PUBLIC PROPERTY. Property owned or controlled by the City of Connersville.
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY. Land occupied or intended to be occupied by a street, alley, boulevard, road, or trail that is owned by the City of Connersville or another public agency.
SIDEWALK. Any sidewalk within the city boundaries of the City of Connersville, notwithstanding whether the sidewalk is maintained by the City of Connersville.
TREE. A perennial woody plant with one main stem or, in clump form, up to three main stems, which develops many branches and ordinarily grows to a height of 20 feet or more.
UNSAFE TREE. Any tree or part thereof that is dead, diseased, harbors insects or disease or constitutes a hazard to life or property.
