The Board of Public Works and Safety is hereby directed to cause all obstructions defined in § 51.061, to be promptly removed and the cost of the removal of the same shall be charged against the person, firm, corporation, or association which caused said obstruction, and in the event said costs are not paid within 30 days from the time the obstruction is removed, the costs shall be placed on the tax duplicates of the county and collected by the proper officials of the county as delinquent taxes are collected.
