The city utilities may terminate or cause to be terminated wastewater service to any person if a violation of this subchapter is found to exist or if a discharge of wastewater causes, or threatens to cause a condition of contamination, pollution, or nuisance as defined by this subchapter, regulations of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, or the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Such a person shall be notified of such termination and be offered an opportunity to show cause before the Board under § 51.045 why the proposed action should not be taken.
