Contractors and businesses wishing to establish an open account must make a request to be approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety. Approved account holders must furnish the Board of Public Works and Safety with a listing of persons, along with vehicle license plate numbers, who will be authorized to use this account. All accounts will be billed on a monthly basis with payment due within 30 days of the billing date. Charges not paid on or before the due date thereof, as stated in such bills, shall be subject to the collection or deferred payment charge of 3% for each month account is in arrears. Waste from accounts over 30 days past due will not be accepted.
