The noise level measured at the property line of the property on which the private or commercial turbine project has been installed shall not exceed 5 dBA above the ambient noise levels or a maximum of 50 decibels. L means sound level. The township requires an L10 noise level which specifies the noise level of 50 dBA is only exceeded 10% of the time, using a statistical analysis.
