§ 90.19  SPECIAL USE PERMIT.
   (A)   Any person who operates a KENNEL, as defined herein, shall annually apply to the township for a kennel special use permit.
   (B)   Upon conviction of a violation of this subchapter, and upon notification to the kennel owner(s), the township may revoke the permit granted under this subchapter.
   (C)   All kennels shall be reasonably open to inspection at all times during normal business hours.
   (D)   The annual fee for kennel special use permits shall be established by resolution of the Township Board.
   (E)   No kennel license shall be issued by the county unless the use is in compliance with the Zoning Code.
   (F)   Kennels shall be licensed if the following standards are met:
      (1)   Any kennel shall be subject to all permit and operational requirements established by county and state regulatory agencies.
      (2)   Accessory buildings, structures, and fenced enclosures associated with animals must be set back at least 60 feet from the front lot line, ten feet from the rear and side lot lines, and 100 feet from any neighboring dwelling location. Kennels must be constructed on a minimum lot size of ten contiguous acres in size.
      (3)   Outdoor kennel enclosures shall be adequately screened from view of adjacent property with vegetation or solid fencing appropriate to such use.
      (4)   Floors and runs shall be of cement, gravel, or stone and shall be appropriately sloped to drain.
