(A) The occupant of each building, premises or place where garbage does or may exist within the Columbus town limits will be provided recycling services. This service will be contracted by and between the occupant and the town.
(B) The occupant of each building, premises or place may provide himself or herself with a recycling can or bin in which he or she shall deposit all recyclable materials existing at the place occupied by him or her. The can or bin shall be of a size that can be conveniently handled by a garbage collector (not to exceed in holding capacity more than 30 gallons) if cans are used.
(C) The town shall post a recycling schedule at Town Hall. All recycling must be put in cans or bins as specified above and placed on the street prior to 7:00 a.m. on pickup days. No recycling will be picked up if same is not set near margin of street or roadway where it is convenient for collectors to reach same.
