§ 55.01  SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL.
   (A)   The occupant of each building, premises or place where garbage does or may exist within the town limits will be provided solid waste disposal services. This service will be contracted by and between the occupant and the town.
   (B)   A schedule of solid waste collection fees shall be set forth in the town schedule of fees and the town may revise the fees at any time.
   (C)   The solid waste collection fees shall be charged to the monthly utility bills. Any utility bill payment will be applied first to the solid waste portion of the bill.
   (D)   Charges will be assessed whether services are used or not.
   (E)   The occupant of each building, premises or place may provide himself or herself with a garbage can or cans in which he or she shall deposit all garbage existing at the place occupied by him or her.
      (1)   The can or cans shall be provided with handles and with a tight-fitting cover. The cover shall remain on the cans at all times whenever garbage is deposited in the cans to keep insects, rodents, small animals and other pests away from the garbage, and to make the cans water-tight.
      (2)   The cans shall be of a size that can be conveniently handled by a garbage collector (not to exceed in holding capacity more than 30 gallons) if cans are used.
   (F)   The town shall post a solid waste collection schedule at Town Hall. All garbage and other refuse referred to above must be put in cans as specified above and placed on the street prior to 7:00 a.m. on pickup days. No garbage or other refuse will be picked up if same is not set near margin of street or roadway where it is convenient for collectors to reach same.
   (G)   The occupant of each building, premises or place may at any time contact the town and request to receive more than one pickup per week. Any additional pickups will be charged according to the schedule of fees.
