§ 30.80 COUNCIL NOT TO INTERFERE WITH APPOINTMENTS; REMOVALS AND THE LIKE.
   (A)   Neither the Town Council, nor any of its committees or members, shall direct or request the appointment of any person to, or removal from, office by the Town Manager or any of the Town Manager's subordinates, or in any manner take part in the appointment or removal of officers and employees in the administrative service of the town under the jurisdiction of the Town Manager.
   (B)   Except for the purpose of inquiry, the Town Council and its members shall deal with the administrative service solely through the Manager, and neither the Town Council, nor any member thereof, shall give orders to any subordinate of the Town Manager, either publicly or privately.
