§ 151.03 INTENT AND SCOPE.
   The regulations and provisions set forth in this code are construed to secure the interests of the public within the corporate limits of the town, being the health, safety, morals and welfare of the public to the extent that each is affected by the occupancy and maintenance of structures and/or buildings and premises. Any structure, building and/or premise that is not in compliance with the provisions and regulations of this code shall be altered, repaired or in some manner remedied so as to ensure a minimum standard of health, safety and welfare within the town, as authorized by G.S. § 160A-444.
