Multiple parallel gas Pipelines owned by two (2) or more gas Utilities shall not be constructed within the same City right-of-way, except that one gas Utility may construct its Pipeline on one side of the right-of-way to provide a Distribution System for its Service Area within which the right-of-way is included, and a second gas Utility may construct a transmission Pipeline on the opposite side of the right-of-way to connect to new Service Areas or to connect to areas outside of the City.
