The provisions of this Code shall apply to all dangerous buildings or structures, as herein defined, which are now in existence or which may hereafter become dangerous in this jurisdiction. Under this Chapter of the City Code, there are no lawful nonconforming uses or nonconforming structures (as defined in Article IV of the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 7A of the City Code). That is, a dangerous building, a dangerous structure, or a dangerous use cannot be classified as a lawful nonconformity as of the effective date of this Chapter of the City Code.
