The City Inspector shall examine all applications before construction is begun and after the construction, enlargement, alteration or repair is complete, the City Inspector shall be notified. It shall be unlawful to cover any affected lines until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incidental thereto has been approved by the City as a proper and suitable connection.
It shall be the duty of the sewer installer and/or plumber to notify the City Inspector by telephone or in writing, not less than eight working hours between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. before work is to be inspected or tested.
