SECTION 14-306.   FAILED SEPTIC SYSTEM.
To protect the general health and welfare of the City, the owner of each residence, dwelling or building to which Sewer Service is or becomes available, is required to make a connection to the City Facilities as soon as practicable should that owner’s septic system fail. A failing system is defined as a seepage pit, cesspool, drywell, leaching pit, other pit, a tank that obviously leaks below the designated operating depth, or any system with less than the required vertical separation.
