SECTION 7D-713.   INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE.
All storm water management facilities shall be designed to minimize the need of maintenance to provide access for maintenance purposes and to be structurally sound. All storm water management facilities shall have a plan of operation and maintenance that assures continued effective removal of pollutants carried in storm water runoff. The City Engineer, or designated representative, shall inspect all storm water management facilities during construction, during the first year of operation, and at least once every five years thereafter. The inspection records will be kept on file at the public works department for a period of six years. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to obtain any necessary easements or other property interests to allow access to the storm water management facilities for inspection and maintenance purposes.
