Any person violating any provision of the City Code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000 or by imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or both, and shall reimburse the City for the costs of prosecution therefor. “Misdemeanor as used herein and throughout the Columbus City Code, shall have the meaning given to it by Minn. Stat. § 609.02, Subd. 3, as amended. Each day such violation continues after receipt of a notice of violation shall be considered a separate offense.
