There is established an insurance review committee to serve without compensation, consisting of one member of the common council, one member from and representing the police or fire department, one member from and representing the utility service department, one member from and representing the park and recreation department and five members from the private sector. Additionally, the mayor (or his/her designee) and the city attorney (or his/her designee) shall serve as ex-officio members of the committee without voting rights and shall not be counted for purposes of determining the presence of a quorum of members present to conduct business.
