13.24.030 Transit advisory committee.
   A.   A transit advisory committee is established and shall continue to function for the purposes of recommending board transit policy and operating directions to the mayor.
   B.   The transit advisory committee shall consist of not less than nine nor more than fifteen individuals appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the mayor. The mayor shall endeavor to include individuals representing a broad cross section of community needs and interests, including those dependent on public transit service, such as the elderly and handicapped.
