A. The utility service board may require septic tank waste haulers to obtain wastewater discharge permits. Additionally, the utility service board may require the hauler to provide a waste analysis of any load prior to discharge, or the utility service board may collect samples of each hauled load to ensure compliance with this chapter. Waste haulers may be required by the utility service board to provide a waste-tracking form for every load. This form shall include, at a minimum, the name and address of the waste hauler, permit number, truck identification, names and addresses of sources of waste, and volume and characteristics of waste.
A. Septic tank waste may be accepted into the POTW at a designated receiving structure within the treatment plant area, and at such times as are established by the utility service board, provided such wastes do not violate this chapter or any other requirements established or adopted by the city.
B. The discharge of hauled industrial wastes as "industrial septage" requires prior approval and a wastewater discharge permit from the city. The utility service board shall have authority to prohibit the disposal of such wastes, if such disposal would interfere with the treatment plant operation. Waste haulers are subject to all other sections of this chapter.
