Whenever the water supplied by the municipal water utility is, in any manner, connected to an auxiliary water supply, water tank, fire protection sprinkler system or any other pipes or tanks not under the direct supervision of the utility service board or its personal representative, such connection shall be made in accordance with all regulations governing the same, as set out by the State Board of Health, and shall be subject to approval in writing by the utility service board. The utility service board shall have authority to enforce such State Board of Health regulations, by discontinuing water service to such customers who do not comply fully with such rules and regulations.
