A. Persons who desire to vacate all or part of a public way or public place shall follow the procedure set forth in Indiana Code, 36-7-3-12.
B. The city clerk shall maintain all vacation ordinances in his or her office and maintain and update a listing entitled Exhibit A on a regular and consistent basis, each time a new vacation ordinance is passed. Said Exhibit A shall contain a listing of all vacation ordinances passed by the city. Said exhibit shall be available to the public for examination during regular business hours.
C. The common council hereto establishes a policy requiring public ways to be vacated in accordance with the Columbus Subdivision Control Ordinance before an ordinance vacating said public way will be adopted by the common council. (Ord. 33-2023, 2023; Prior code § 27-57)
