2.06.010 Individual surety bonds--Blanket bonds.
   A.   Pursuant to Indiana Code, 5-4-1-18, and 36-10-3-16, a minimum blanket bond is authorized, established and required in the minimum amount of fifteen thousand dollars for the following positions:
   1.   Public works and utilities clerks;
   2.   Department of code enforcement secretaries;
   3.   Planning director;
   4.   Secretary to the planning director;
   5.   Superintendent of parks and recreation;
   6.   Assistant superintendent of parks and recreation;
   7.   Mayor;
   8.   Clerk-treasurer;
   9.   Deputy clerks;
   10.   Secretary of fire pension board;
   11.   Any employee of any city department who handles money in the performance of their duties.
   B.   Pursuant to Indiana Code, 5-4-1-18, an individual surety bond is established and required for the city clerk-treasurer and Barrett Law Custodians, in an amount equal to fifteen thousand dollars for each one million dollars of the receipts of the office during the last fiscal year for the purchase of said bonds but not to exceed in any event, the sum of three hundred thousand dollars.
