8.08.030 Use of city emergency ambulance service by persons living outside county--Fees.
   A.   The city, by and through the fire department, is authorized and empowered to levy and collect fees from all persons making use of its emergency ambulance service who reside outside the county.
   B.   The common council or its duly authorized representative, may meet with the board of commissioners of the county, to establish a fee of one hundred dollars to be charged for such emergency ambulance service to residents living outside the county.
   The council may, in conjunction with the board of commissioners of the county, change and modify such fee schedule, from time to time, as the costs of providing such emergency ambulance service shall require.
   C.   The city clerk-treasurer is to keep a record of receipts from the collection of the fees herein.
   D.   All moneys must be deposited in the general fund with a separate receipt card entitled, "Receipts from Media I." (Prior code § 3-3)
