8.12.065 Fire investigations.
   A.   The Fire Chief, or his her designee, shall perform fire investigations pursuant to I.C. 36-8-17-8.
   B.   The Fire Chief, or his/her designee, is authorized to conduct an origin and cause investigation of all fires and explosions within the service district of the Columbus Fire Department (or Fire Territory). It shall be unlawful for any person to impede the Fire Chief, or his/her designee, from conducting an origin and cause investigation. (Ord. 2-2019, 2019)
