3.20.390 Columbus fire nonreverting fund.
   A.   The Columbus Fire Non-Reverting Fund number 3010 in the city controller's office is hereby modified.
   B.   The Columbus City Clerk-Treasurer shall receive, invest and reinvest funds received from all sources and Columbus City Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to pay from said fund, expenses associated with the City of Columbus public safety training facility, firearms training facility and FATS, including but not limited to: operation costs, maintenance costs, and upkeep costs.
   C.   Rental fees may be charged for the public safety training facility, firearms training facility, FATS and any other associated training equipment or personnel.
   D.   Spent shell casing from the firearms range may be sold in accordance with I.C. 5-22-22 et seq.
   E.   The Columbus Police Department and Columbus Fire Department may charge a fee for participation in voluntary programs and courses they offer to the public that are held at the Columbus public safety training facility or firearms training facility.
   F.   The above-mentioned fees and revenues shall be deposited in fund number 3010.
   G.   Funds from fund number 3010 shall be used, without appropriation, to defray the costs of the operation, maintenance and upkeep to the public safety training facility, firearms training facility and FATS.
   H.   Fund number 3010 shall be a continuing, non-reverting, fund that is maintained by the Columbus Fire Department. (Ord. 33-2023, 2023; Ord. 38-2019, 2019; Ord. 39-2017, 2017)
