The Columbus Police Department vacation time shall be reflected as follows:
A. Employees who have completed at least one continuous year of full-time employment, but less than five years:
1. Officers working twelve-hour shifts shall have ten (120 hours) workdays off;
2. Officers working ten-hour shifts shall have ten (one hundred hours) workdays off:
3. Officers working eight and a half-hour shifts shall have ten (eighty-five hours) workdays off; and
4. Officers working eight-hour shifts shall have ten (eighty hours) workdays off.
B. Employees who have completed at least live five continuous years of full-time employment, but less than ten years;
1. Officers working twelve-hour shifts shall have fifteen(one hundred and eighty hours) workdays off;
2. Officers working ten-hour shifts shall have fifteen (one hundred and fifty hours) workdays off;
3. Officers working eight and a half-hour shifts shall have fifteen (one hundred twenty-seven and a half hours) workdays off; and
4. Officers working eight-hour shifts shall have fifteen (one hundred twenty hours) workdays off.
C. Employees who have completed at least ten continuous years of full-time employment, but less than twenty years:
1. Officers working twelve-hour shifts shall have twenty (two hundred and forty hours) workdays off;
2. Officers working ten-hour shifts shall have twenty (two hundred hours) workdays off;
3. Officers working eight and a half-hour shifts shall have twenty (one hundred and seventy hours) workdays off; and
4. Officers working eight-hour shifts shall have twenty (one hundred and sixty hours) workdays off.
D. Employees who have completed at least twenty years of continuous full-time employment:
1. Officers working twelve-hour shifts shall have twenty-five (three hundred hours) workdays off;
2. Officers working ten-hour shifts shall have twenty-five (two hundred and fifty hours) workdays off;
3. Officers working eight and a half-hour shifts shall have twenty-five (two hundred twelve and a half hours) workdays off; and
4. Officers working eight-hour shifts shall have twenty-five (two hundred hours) workdays off. (Ord. 37-2018, 2018)
