6.08.230 Wild animal violations—Penalties.
   A.   Any person who violates any or all of sections 6.08.190, 6.08.200 and/or 6.08.210, or otherwise violates any provisions of this chapter, is subject to a fine of fifty dollars for the first offense, with fines increasing in increments of fifty dollars for each subsequent offense within one year of the first offense but not more than one thousand dollars, and is subject to having said wild animal(s) confiscated by the State of Indiana and/or Animal Care Services.
   B.   Any person who is found in violation of Section 6.08.220, may be subject to a fine of one hundred dollars for the first offense with fines increasing in increments of one hundred dollars for each subsequent offense within one year of the first offense, but not more than one thousand dollars. This fine may be assessed against the sponsor of such an exhibit, should the owner or commercial animal establishment not reside within the state of Indiana.
