(a) Every window, exterior door and basement hatchway shall be substantially tight.
(b) Every window, exterior door, and basement hatchway shall be kept in sound condition and repair.
(c) Every window, exterior door, and basement hatchway shall afford protection against infestation.
(d) Every basement hatchway and window shall be so constructed and maintained as to prevent entrance of rain and surface drainage into the structure.
(e) Every window, exterior door and frame shall be constructed and maintained in such relation to the adjacent wall construction so as to exclude rain as completely as possible.
(f) Every window sash shall be fully supplied with glass window panes or an approved substitute which is without open cracks or holes and tightly sealed with caulking or putty.
(1) Substitute for glass must be placed within the window frame and appear to be one with the sash/molding around the frame. Overlying the window shall not be permitted. The substitute will be a solid, nonrotted or decayed material and shall also be painted or sealed to keep from rotting or decaying and placed in a workmanlike manner, sealed to prevent weather entering structure.
(g) Every window sash shall be in good condition and fit reasonably tight within its frame.
(h) Every exterior door shall be able to be closed and secured and, when closed, shall fit reasonably well within its frame.
(i) Every exterior door, door hinge and door latch shall be maintained in good condition.
