The developer has the option of using any of the following base courses, based upon recommendations of the Village Engineer as to soil and traffic conditions: aggregate, bituminous aggregate, asphaltic concrete, water-bound macadam, portland cement concrete, or equally suitable base course. Thickness shall be determined by the Village Engineer, based upon the physical properties of the base course used and the physical properties of the roadbed.
