The Mayor may from time to time designate areas of the quarry and adjacent lands owned by the Village as restricted areas, in the manner provided in this section. Areas shall be designated as restricted to facilitate work being done, to prevent injury to any person, to protect wildlife, fish or plant life, to prevent property damage and to prevent water pollution. Whenever any area is designated as a restricted area, no person shall enter the area except persons designated by the Mayor as having duties in the area, including Village employees assigned to the area and persons working in the area on contract with the Village. Signs shall be posted to notify the public of any restricted area.
