As used in this chapter, the following words and phrases will have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
(a) “Village Quarry” means the body of water known as the Village Quarry, otherwise known as all that part of the following described land lying below the high water line.
High Water Line: Situated in the Township of Pleasant, County of Putnam and State of Ohio, and known as: The Quarry hole, and fifteen feet on the East, North and West sides and thirty feet on the South side of said quarry hole, all being a portion of the following tract: Commencing at the center of Section 26, T1S, R7E, running thence North five chains to a stone, thence in a Southwesterly direction along the meanderings of Cranberry Creek to the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 26, thence East on East and West center line of said Section 26, to the place of beginning containing 2.56 acres.
ALSO: The Southeast part of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter, except the Southeast corner, and the North middle part of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 26, T1S, R7E, Pleasant Township, Putnam County, Ohio more particularly described as follows: Beginning on the North and South center line of said Section 26 at a point 18.5 feet North of a stone at the center of said section; thence South 77°18'W 597.5 feet; thence North 13°42'W 134.2 feet; thence North 15°43'E 147.9 feet; thence North 53°17'E 549.6 feet; thence North 62°21'E 151.2 feet to the aforesaid North and South center line of said section; thence South on said North and South center section line 540.2 feet to the place of beginning, containing 5.64 acres of land, more or less.
(b) “Watercourse” means any spring, stream, creek, river, ditch, gutter, culvert or other channel through which water runs, whether it runs constantly or occasionally.
