The provisions of this chapter do not apply to the following:
(a) Funeral processions or use of such devices by a church.
(b) The production of music in connection with any parade or authorized under any provision of law.
(c) Any musical performance upon a public place where a permit has been obtained from the Village for such purpose.
(d) The use of amplifiers, instruments or other equipment in connection with any religious or political activity, any permitted athletic competition or recreational event held on athletic fields, stadiums or public places in the Village or the activities of local non-profit organizations.
