(A) The regulations, restrictions and boundaries set forth in this chapter may from time to time be amended, supplemented, changed or appealed to reflect any and all changes in federal, state or local regulations; provided, however, that no such action may be take until after a public hearing in relation thereto, at which citizens and parties in interest shall have an opportunity to be heard. Notice of the time and place of such hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city. At least 15 days shall elapse between the date of this publication and the public hearing.
(B) A copy of such amendments will be provided to the state’s Department of Natural Resources and the Federal Emergency Management Agency for review and approval before being adopted.
