Upon cancellation, revocation, or termination of this franchise or upon the expiration of this franchise, the city, at it's option, may direct the grantee to operate the system for the account of the city for a period up to one year. The grantee shall comply with such direction. The city shall pay the grantee the actual expenses incurred in operating the system.
