§ 10.309 BOMB THREATS AND EVACUATION.
   (A)   No person shall threaten to discharge any explosive device in or to bomb any building or place or, as a hoax, to communicate or cause to be communicated the fact that a bomb or other explosive device has been placed in any building or in any location whether specifically identified or not.
   (B)   No person shall knowingly use or permit to be used any telephone or other means of communication under his control to be used for any purpose prohibited by this section.
   (C)   No person shall, as a hoax or otherwise, place or cause to be placed in any building, place or location any article with the intent to give the impression that such article possesses explosive capability.
   (D)   The City Manager, Chief of Police, Fire Chief, any firefighter, or any peace officer shall have the authority to order the evacuation of any building or area within the city when such person reasonably believes that a bomb or other explosive device could be located in such building or area. Upon being notified of such order, no person within such building or area shall fail to comply with such order, nor shall any person obstruct the evacuation of such building or area.
