§ 8.502 EMERGENCY WATER CONSERVATION.
   (A)   No person shall use or withdraw water for the following purposes:
      (1)   Sprinkling, watering or irrigating of lawns, grass, ground covers, plants, vines, vegetables, flowers or any other vegetation (except trees, gardens, perennials or golf greens);
      (2)   Washing of automobiles, trucks, trailers, trailer-houses, railroad cars, or any other type of mobile equipment (other than at a commercial car wash);
      (3)   Washing of sidewalks, driveways, filling station aprons, porches and other outdoor services;
      (4)   Washing of the outside of buildings;
      (5)   Operating of any ornamental fountains or other structures making similar use of water.
   (B)   No person shall knowingly allow defective plumbing to run out of repair which allows the escape of water.
   (C)   The City Manager shall have the authority to terminate enforcement of some or all of the provisions of this article at such time as he determines that the supply of water is adequate to allow some or all of the uses of water prohibited by this section.
