The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration Inspector for the city shall exercise all duties and functions pertaining to inspections as may be prescribed by the code for persons of a similar title description. Where the city has engaged a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration Inspector to work under the Building Official, the Building Official shall exercise all supervisory duties and functions pertaining to inspections as may be prescribed by the code for persons of a similar title description.
