If any storm water utility fees have not been paid when due, then a penalty as set forth in § 4.608, shall be added to that amount due. Any such past due fees may then be certified to the County Auditor for collection with real estate taxes on the following year pursuant to M.S. § 444.075, subd. 3, as amended. In addition, the city shall also have the right to bring a civil action or to take other legal remedies to collect unpaid fees.
