(A) The County Assessor is hereby designated as the appropriate officer to be responsible for keeping the assessment records, preparing the tax books, extending all special improvement levies, computing millage rollback, making all Board of Equalization adjustments, and assuming all duties and responsibilities relating to the same by use of electronic data processing equipment.
(B) The Assessor will also, in writing, certify the tax books of the county to the County Collector within the time required by law.
